Historic Restoration Project

This restoration project was a Chrysalis Award Winner for Best Whole House Renovation in 2000. It began when The New Century Club, a 50 year-old ladies bridge/philanthropic club, sold the historic property to the Martins. Previous renovations had left multiple doors and window heights, small partitioned spaces through the wall AC units. The Coleman team retrofitted the property with a total system replacement (Electrical, plumbing, mechanical) to bring the residence up to codes. The side entry was transformed into a new living space. Interior transoms boxed and wrapped with multiple piece crown molding brought in maximum light and maximum height to the 1st floor living spaces. Most of the original Oak hardwood flooring was salvaged and refinished to a beautiful luster.
